Just to clarify, I knew the Street Angels did back up on Exile, so it wasn't referencing another A3. And that is the exact quote, with no context. The epigraph is on a page with a second epigraph quoting Peter Gabriel "How can there be an outside when there is no inside" - there's nothing else. If you're wondering why wouldn't the editor wouldn't just ask the author? Because writers can never be objective about their stuff. They fight over every deletion.
The book (called Runnerland) is about a 15-year old runaway boy who ends up living on the street.
